If you're agreeing on behalf of a law firm or organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Our Services

TimeNet Law provides:

  • Legal billing and time tracking software for Mac

We work continuously to improve our services but reserve the right to modify features, pricing, and availability with reasonable notice.

3. Purchases & Payments

Pricing

Current prices are displayed on our pricing page. All prices are in USD unless otherwise noted.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by secure third-party providers. We don't store your complete payment card information.

Subscriptions

Subscription licenses renew automatically unless cancelled. You can cancel anytime through your account or by contacting support. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on new purchases. If TimeNet Law isn't right for your practice, contact us within 30 days for a full refund. Renewal payments are non-refundable but you can cancel future renewals anytime.

4. Acceptable Use

When using our website and services, you agree not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Transmit malware or harmful code
  • Use our services to harm others

Essentially: be professional. We know you will be.

5. Intellectual Property

TimeNet Law software, website content, logos, and documentation are owned by TimeNet Law or our licensors. Your purchase grants you a license to use the software — not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

You retain all rights to the data you create using our software. We claim no ownership over your work product.

6. Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may link to third-party sites (like Apple's App Store). We're not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Links don't imply endorsement.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We don't warrant that:

  • Services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Defects will be corrected immediately
  • The website is free of viruses or harmful components

Your use of our services is at your own risk. We do our best, but perfection isn't guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TimeNet Law shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limitations, so they may not fully apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify TimeNet Law against claims arising from your use of our services, violation of these terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

For significant changes affecting your rights, we'll provide advance notice via email.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

Governing Law: These terms are governed by Oregon law, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

Dispute Resolution: Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Most issues can be solved with a conversation.

Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be brought in Jackson County, Oregon.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary.
