You're buying a license to use the software — not ownership of the code itself
Your data belongs to you — always has, always will
One license = one attorney — additional attorneys need additional licenses

You draft these for a living. We'll keep ours readable.

Everything you create in TimeNet Law belongs to you. We have no claim to it.
No Hostage Data
Your data is stored in standard formats. Export anytime, no restrictions.

Make reasonable backup copies for archival purposes
Use the software for your legal practice operations
This license is personal to you or your firm and may not be resold, sublicensed, or transferred.
2. License Types

Annual subscription provides:
Full software access for the subscription period
All updates and new features released during your term
Priority technical support
Automatic renewal (which you can cancel anytime)
Legacy (Perpetual) License
One-time purchase provides:
Perpetual right to use the version you purchased

Always Access Your Data
Regardless of license status, you can always access, view, and export your data. We don't believe in holding your work hostage.
3. Per-Attorney Licensing
Each attorney who uses TimeNet Law needs their own license. Support staff using the software to enter time or generate invoices on behalf of a licensed attorney do not need separate licenses.
Not sure how many licenses you need? Contact us — we're happy to help figure out the right setup.
4. Restrictions
You may not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
Use the software to provide services to third parties (service bureau use)
Share your license credentials with unlicensed users
5. Your Data Rights
Let's be crystal clear:
You own your data. Client records, time entries, invoices, documents — all yours.
We can't access your data. It's stored locally on your Mac. We don't have it.
You can export anytime. Standard formats, no restrictions, no fees.
Termination doesn't erase your data. Your files remain on your computer.
